Opentrons App

You operate an OT-2 through the Opentrons OT-2 App. This chapter describes how to download and use the app to perform fundamental tasks like uploading protocol files, running and managing protocols, controlling hardware, and other features.

Note

While the Opentrons OT-2 App lets you control the robot and run automated protocols, this software does not create protocols. To create a protocol, you'll use the Opentrons Protocol Designer. You can also create protocols with the Opentrons Python API or the OpentronsAI.
